Even with Florida State’s redshirt freshman quarterback Jameis Winston’s first home game, FSU rolled to a solid win over the pack on September 14, 2013.

The Pack looked great, the first and second quarter, with their second string quarterback, Devin Combs, in the game. Combs passed  to Brandon Wimberly for an 11-yard touchdown at the end of the second quarter to put the Pack on top 7-3. However, the lead didn’t last long for the Pack and the Seminoles led the pack 17-7 at the half.

The game went downhill from there for Nevada, by the third quarter the Seminoles were winning 45-7. FSU coach Jimbo Fisher put in his reserve team late in the third quarter after the starters proved they could put on a show.

The reserves continued to add points for the Seminoles and concluded with a final score of 62-7.
