Kara Marken: A Bay Area, Calif. native, I recently moved to Nevada to attend the University of Nevada, Reno. My dream is to become a reporter for ESPN--with a overall goal of eventually obtaining a job as a sports analyst. The broadcast journalism program offered at my university is amazing--I plan to only go up from here!
I love sports, writing, reading and relaxing. I shy away from drama and stressful situations; I like to live life with a smile on my face while still maintaining a good head on my shoulders. I'm independent--a fighter and a lover, a good friend and a great listener.

Gloria Davis

Gloria Davis was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She attended Holy Family Catholic School for elementary and middle school and Valley Catholic for high school.

Now a Junior, studying television journalism with minors in health and Spanish, at the University of Nevada her life revolves around studying and having an overall great college experience.

Gloria grew up playing many sports and being very busy with activities and clubs. Sports including soccer, track and field, tennis, golf, basketball and swimming. Activities including Girl Scouts, Leadership team, Youth Groups, Editor of High School Newspaper, Student Ambassador, Sorority Panhellenic and Sigma Kappa Sorority. 

She plans on graduating the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada in 2015 and attending graduate school to receive her Masters in Television Journalism. After her education, she plans to work for a major news organization and work her way up to a news anchor position.
