Nevada Takes Down Hawaii--31 to 9

Wolf Pack football coach Brian Polian felt ‘hopeful’ last week that starting QB Cody Fajardo would return to the field for the Mountain West Conference opener this past Saturday. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Fajardo remained on the sidelines during Saturdays home game against Hawaii after sustaining a knee injury during the Pack’s win against UC Davis in week two.
Despite the loss of Fajardo, the Wolf Pack ended up on top of Hawaii thanks to a great display by the red-shirt Freshman Tyler Stewart.

On a side note, a new season of Wolf Pack football is among us, and we have a trending video around Nevada's campus about the unofficial mascot J.C., who is a staple within the student section at many of our games.

VIDEO WAS REMOVED PER UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA'S REQUEST
